Protective Workshop

Phuthanamagole Protective Workshops

The workshop aims to assist and teach people with intellectual illness range from 16 years, the members in the workshop are taught craft work such as looming, paper morche, embroidery, yarn ball, knitting and many more. The members also learn how to read and write life skills and to development character such as physical, mental, social, spiritual and emotional. All these were developed for the beneficiaries to be able to learn and be aware of their weakness and to build on the positive aspects of their character.

Soshanguve Protective Workshops

It was established in 1995, the aim of the workshop is to assist people with intellectual disability by giving them some skills that will help them to turn their disability into ability. The other aim is to also protect them from being abused by community members while their families are at work during the day.
