The North Gauteng Mental Health Society Fundraising, Marketing and Communication department was established in 2017. The sole mandate of this department was to raise funds for the funds for the organization and raise the awareness through social media.
The marketing, fundraising and communication department ensures that the organization is well known to the public using several communication platforms, internal and external communication, sourcing donations, events, coordinating website, social media pages and raising funds.
The department has managed to work in line with advocacy department and social work satellite offices to raise awareness through social media and other social event.
The department have a long term goal to get the resources and equipment for our beneficiaries at the protective workshops to empower them and enhance more skills to them, to can enable them to create craft that can be sold and generate funds for the organization. Another future plan is to secure funding from financial institutions that will pump in funds on a yearly basis.
